Hand Forged Bushcraft Knife with Hamon Line, Burlwood in Resin Handle
This elegantly shaped knife was hand forged from W2 high carbon steel, and given a traditional Japanese hamon line using a differential heat treatment. The knife was designed to be a razor sharp camp/survival/skinning knife that perfect fits the task of slicing through tough material. The bottom edge is sharp and heat treated to greatly reduce the chance of edge rolls or chipping, the back bevel is not sharpened, but tapers to a good piercing tip. Comes with a Rainy Forge handcrafted leather sheath. This one of a kind knife will make for a functional work of art, and an heirloom piece to be passed on.
