Handmade Viking Seax with Hamon Line
A beautiful blend of two cultures, this Viking seax was hand crafted from W2 steel and given a traditional Japanese hamon line. The hamon line is the result of a differential heat treatment process which leaves a hardened edge and durable spine, a method tried and true for a millennia. An excellent knife for light chopping, slicing, and cutting. The handle is made from black walnut, resin, and red cedar, with two steel handle pins, and a steel lanyard hole. The knife also comes with a paracord lanyard, and Rainy Forge made leather sheath. Perfect for the next camping, hiking, or hunting excursion, this seax is built for the modern Viking.
